This years Fenland trip went without a hitch, the hardy campers arrived on Friday afternoon/evening on a warm sunny day and the weather only got better throughout the weekend.

Camping facilities at “little ranch” are perfect for our needs, only two miles from Wisbech with its comprehensive facilities and only a mile from the A47 trunk road, the campsite has fishing lakes and they kindly run electric for those of us who want it and let us stay in the same area, showers and toilets are ok with endless hot water for showers and washing up etc.

Huge thanks to Katherine Pearson and Alex Chambers for organising and running the weekend, we all enjoyed a communal barbecue Saturday evening and got away in our groups around 10am every morning

Andy Sampson, myself and Alex lead the groups through some great areas with lots of big sky’s and wide open spaces.

For those of you who wouldn’t consider the fens as a destination to visit and lane think again, unrivalled big wide open spaces with varied tracks, some tight and scratchy some wide open endless views in all directions!
