ATUK Leicestershire trip-Adam Locker

l1
After everyone met up around 9ish, we headed out on a slightly tweaked route than initially planned due to very soft ground on a few lanes.
Another cracking mix of vehicles in the little convoy, with Mick Clarke in his VW Touareg, Larry Whelan in his old school Zuk SJ Samurai and Neill Campbell in his Defender V8.
With plenty of rain preceding today, there were puddles galore and what would normally be little splashes, were now sill deep at times.
That, combined with some very rarely driven lanes, made for a cracking day that kept everybody happy.
With a decent mix of lanes and views, I must say Leicestershire is a cracking place to head for if you want to avoid the crowds but still have some brilliant lanes. And they’re really well signposted as well
